John Bartell


John Andrew Bartell, 4, of Lombard, died Monday, June 21, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 25, from Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, to Mass at St. Pius X Church in Lombard. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
John is survived by his parents, Andrew and Carey Bartell; grandparents, Tom and Pat Bartell and John and Lynn O’Connor; great-grandparents, Catherine Sorich and John Andrew Wallace; two aunts and six uncles; and seven cousins.
John was born in Michigan and attended preschool at St. Pius X Parish School in Lombard.

Angelina Evans

Angelina Evans, nee Schilaci, 92, of California, died Saturday, June 19, in Fremont.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 26, at Brust Villa Park Funeral Home, 305 S. Princeton. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her daughter, Christine (Thomas) O’Day; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mary Maita and Frank. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; daughter, Patricia Ann; and son, Roy W.
Mrs. Evans was a resident of California for between 45-50 years.

Donald King

Visitation and funeral services for Donald W. “Red” King, 80, will be held Saturday, July 3, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park.
Mr. King is survived by his children, Mark (Krista) and Marcie; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther; son, Michael; and sister, Patricia McCann.

Terrence O’Connell

Terrence J. O’Connell, 72, of Melrose Park, died Monday, June 21, in Melrose Park.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 29, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
Mr. O’Connell is survived by his nephew, Joseph; nieces, Eileen, Patricia and Natalie of Lombard; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth; sister, Kathleen; and niece, Donna.
