F. Marguerite Aull

F. Marguerite P. Aull, nee Price, 92, of St. Charles, formerly of Lombard, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Provena Pine View Care Center in St. Charles.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 4, at First United Methodist Church in Lombard. Interment was at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Ala.
Mrs. Aull is survived by her children, James (Barbara), Diane (Joseph) Winkler, Jeffrey (Deborah) and Frances; daughter-in-law, Marjorie Aull; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert M.; son, Marshall; and grandson, Eric.
Mrs. Aull resided in Lombard for 53 years. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 1939 with a B.S. degree and went on to a dietetic internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mich. She taught at Glenbard East High School, was a past president of the Lombard Unit of Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, was a board member of the Lombard Service League and served on the PTA board at Lincoln School.
She served on the board of AFS, was a member of the Community Concert Association, was a member of United Charities of Chicago, served on the board of the Community Youth Council in Lombard, was a director of education at United Methodist Church in Lombard, and was a member of the Lombard Historical Society.
Mrs. Aull also volunteered at the Lombard Food Pantry, was a Cub Scout leader in Lombard, was a vivacious and gracious hostess, was a world traveler, loved square and ballroom dancing, was an antiques collector, an avid “Crimson Tide” football fan and a symphony lover.
Memorials to First United Methodist Church or the Lombard-Villa Park Food Pantry, 155 S. Main St., Lombard, would be appreciated.
Arrangements were made by Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.

Kenneth M. Pawley

Kenneth M. Pawley, 58, of Cicero, Ind., formerly of Lombard and Wheaton, passed away Thursday, Sept. 23, in Westfield, Ind.
A private interment will take place at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.
Mr. Pawley is survived by his brothers, Donald, Robert and John; sister, Barbara Williams; and eight nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pawley was born in Chicago to the late Kenneth and Barbara Dumelle Pawley. He attended Glenbard East High School and worked at Cub Foods in Lombard before his retirement.
Memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Robert E. Pribish

Robert (Bob) E. Pribish of Lombard, aka “The Man,” aka “Dagwood,” passed away on September 16, 2010, at the age of 87. 
He was the beloved husband of the late Anne; dearest father of Carol (Walt), Cindy; and Bud (Patti); dearest grandfather of Erica (Jimmy), Amy, Samantha, Sara, Rob, Gwen, Chrissy, and Jaci; and proud great-grandfather of Emily.

Bob will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

John Ziemke

John E. “Jack” Ziemke, 83, of Glen Ellyn, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 1, with prayers from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to Mass at Sacred Heart Church. Interment was at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.
Mr. Ziemke is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley; children, Jean (Ron) Casper and Bruno (Jan) DeLeon; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Ziemke was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served during World War II and Korea. He retired from the Chicago Police Department after 27 years, and was a former member of St. Cornelius Parish in Chicago, where he was a member of the St. Cornelius Holy Name Society.
Mr. Ziemke was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Lombard, coached Little League baseball and loved watching his grandson play baseball.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sacred Heart Athletic Association, 114 S. Elizabeth, Lombard, IL 60148, would be appreciated.
