Bradley Ebbert

Bradley A. Ebbert, 48, of Florida, formerly of Lombard, died Saturday, April 16, in Florida.
A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, May 1, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment is private.
Mr. Ebbert is survived by his children, Bradley and Olivia; parents, Geneva and Ray Ebbert; sister, Jennifer (Steve) Reinecke; a niece and a nephew; uncle, Ron (Virginia) Nichols; and special love, Susan Harris.
Mr Ebbert graduated from Park View Elementary School and was a 1980 graduate of Glenbard East High School. He loved his Harley.

Gary Johnson

A memorial service for Gary E. Johnson, 60, of Glen Ellyn, was held Tuesday, April 26, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Villa Park. Entombment was at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his father, Vince (MaryAnne); siblings, Glenn (Carol), Karen (Jim) Curran and Kathy (Scott) Evensen; and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores.

Mary Jordan

Mary M. Bradley Jordan, 100, of Lombard, died Friday, April 22, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Visitation is today, April 27, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Funeral services are being held Thursday, April 28, with prayers from the funeral home to Mass at Sacred Heart Church. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Bradley Jordan is survived by her children, Mary Ellyn (Dr. James) Jordan, James T. (Eileen), Margaret Rose (Robert) Beerman, Kathleen (William) Schaefer and Patrick (Linda); 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Neil Jordan and James P. Bradley.
Mrs. Jordan was a great reader and swimmer. She had worked as a secretary until the age of 75 and loved to dance with her grandsons. She had been a member of Sacred Heart Church for 25-plus years.

Services and interment for Patricia D. “Pat” Kathmann, 55 of Villa Park, are private.

Lorraine Kozar

Lorraine M. Kozar, nee Lewandowski, of Lombard, died Friday, April 22, in Downers Grove.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 26, from Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, to Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church in Lombard, with the Rev. Peter Jarosz officiating. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery.
Mrs. Kozar is survived by her children, Karen Cousineau and Francis; three grandchildren; siblings, Eleanor (the late Steve) Bogacz and Margaret (the late John) Seter; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard F.; son, Thomas; and sister, Patricia (the late Richard) Kulakowski.
Mrs. Kozar had worked in sales as a clerk.

Dorothy Lake

Dorothy A. Lake, 85, of Glen Ellyn, formerly of Villa Park, died Thursday, April 21, at Arden Courts in Glen Ellyn.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 26, Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Oakbrook Terrace. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Ms. Lake is survived by her siblings, Helen G. Gill of Lombard and Donald E. (Christina); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward T. and Agnes V.; and brother-in-law, William Gill.
Mrs. Lake was a proud member of the Dreamers and was a longtime member and Woman of the Year of the Council of Catholic Women at Ascension Church. She was a longtime volunteer for the West Suburban Humane Society.

Barry Lutz

Barry J. Lutz, 59, and an architect, passed away April 20, 2011.
He was the beloved husband of Dorothy, nee Biel; loving father of Jamie Lutz and Alexander (Kristen Abbott) Lutz; dear brother of Kim (Ricardo) Olea; fond brother-in-law of Linda Lutz, Janis Biel and Joyce Castro; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is today, April 27, at 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave. (2 miles west of 79th and Harlem), Justice, Ill.

Mary Tobey, nee Catain, 78, of Villa Park, died Friday, April 22, in Villa Park.

Mrs. Tobey is survived by her children, Debbie (Ken) Westergaard, Mark and Michelle (Sean) Geary; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Winnie (the late Jim) King; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; granddaughter, Vanessa Tobey; and siblings, Martha (the late Loui) Lorengo, Salvatore (the late Theresa), Jimmy and Joseph Catain.
