Larry Gustello

Larry Gustello, of Lombard, died Tuesday, July 5, in Lombard.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 9, from Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, to Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church in Lombard, with the Rev. Peter Jarosz officiating. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mr. Gustello is survived by his children, Lawrence (Loretta), Deborah (Joe) Tomec; Marycatherine (Gary) Svelha, Michael (Tracy) and Christopher; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda.
Mr. Gustello was born in Orland Park and was a veteran of World War II. He had worked as a carpenter.

Florence Malm

A memorial visitation for Florence T. Malm, nee Thiele, 92, of Lombard, is being held today, July 13, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Visitation and a memorial service will be held Thursday, July 14, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lombard. Interment is private at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.
Mrs. Malm is survived by her children, Eric W. Jr. (Virginia), Barbara L. Malm (Kenneth S. Cluett) and Arthur P. (Catherine); four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Replinger; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric W.; daughter, Patricia; and brothers, William, Martin and Arthur.
Mrs. Malm was a resident of Lombard for 60 years. She was an accountant for Martin Thiele Co., was a charter member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lombard and was a longtime community volunteer.

Jeannine Mans

Jeannine Mans, nee Mohr, of Lombard, died Wednesday, July 6, in Downers Grove.
A memorial service was held Friday, July 8, at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, with the Rev. John Guiney officiating. Interment was private.
Mrs. Mans is survived by her children, Frank E. (Suzanne), Deborah (Tim) Zarnowski, David, Donna (John) Staniec and Jeffrey (Lisa); seven grandchildren; siblings, Edward Mohr and Sharon Esposito; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank.
Mrs. Mans was born in Elmhurst and was a bus driver for special needs education.
Memorials to an advocate of special needs and handicapped children would be appreciated.

William Pfeiffer

Funeral services for William J. Pfeiffer, 64, of Villa Park, were held Saturday, July 9, at St. Alexander Catholic Church Gathering Space in Villa Park. Interment was at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
Mr. Pfeiffer is survived by his mother, Kathryn L.; brothers, Robert N. and James P. (Roberta); sister-in-law, Linda Pfeiffer; and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph A.
