Lillian Johnson

Lillian G. Johnson, 95, of Lombard, died Sunday, June 19, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
Visitation will be today, June 22, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23, at the funeral home. Interment is at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Dennis (Josie Oddo); and granddaughter, Samantha Oddo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Wheeling and was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lombard for over 20 years.

Joyce Poggi

A memorial visitation and service for Joyce Ballantine Poggi, 79, of Villa Park, is being held today, June 22, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Interment is private.
Mrs. Poggi is survived by her children, David (Michelle), Lawrence (Christina) and Lloyd; 10 grandchildren; and cousin, Diane Szachnitowski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugenio.
Mrs. Poggi was the owner of Funky Java coffee shop.

William Reichardt

William E. Reichardt, 91, formerly of Lombard, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, June 18.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 24, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 25, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lombard. Interment is private at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Ind.
Mr. Reichardt is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elsie; children, William (Rosemary), James (Maureen), Thomas (Jackie) and Susan (Todd) Hall; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Lynn.
Mr. Reichardt was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Pacific during World War II, aboard the battleship Colorado. He was retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Co.

Linda Ann Speakar

On June 6, Linda Ann Speakar 61, formerly of Lombard, passed away in Hot Springs, Ark., from a bout with cancer. 
Her request was to be cremated and buried by her parents in Rome, Wis. The family will hold a memorial there at a later date.
Mrs. Speakar is survived by her husband Jim; three stepsons, all from the Hot Springs area; and her two brothers; and two sister-in-laws, Keith and Kathleen Hawley of Baraboo, Wis., and Jack and Arlene Hawley of  Willow Park, Texas. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Harry R. and Carol E. Hawley; and both her grandparents.
Born May 5, 1950, she was a graduate of Willowbrook High School in 1968, and moved to the Kansas City, Mo., area to start and complete her studies and training as an LPN.  At this time she also met and married her husband of 26 years.
