John Bielenda

John A. Bielenda, 85, of Lombard, died Thursday, May 24, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 29, from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Lombard. Entombment is at Assumption Cemetery.
Mr. Bielenda is survived by his wife, Jeanne; children, John (Sue), Mary (Steve) Meell, Maggie (Nick) Viggiano, Mark and Carol (Rick) Saint Blancard; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bielenda was a resident of Lombard since 1958. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II on the USS Hornet. He was a Loyola University graduate and proud owner for over 50 years of Westmore Supply Co. in Lombard.
Mr. Bielenda was a past member of the chamber of commerce and a past member of the Lilac Parade committee. He had been an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; loved fishing, old cars and naval history; and was loved by many and respected by all.

Keith Blokel

Keith A. Blokel, 68, of Villa Park, died Saturday, May 26.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Blokel is survived by his children, Michael Partlo (Kim Burgos), Rhonda (Richard) Raspatello, Danielle Scaco, Jason (Julie) and Scott; nine grandchildren; sister, Nancy Nichols; and was the uncle of many. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia; and brother, Dave (Gurt) Blokel.

Barcha Lebbos

Barcha E. Lebbos, 86, of Hanover Park, died Sunday, May 27, at Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village.
Funeral services are being held today, May 30, with prayers from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to Mass at Our Lady of Lebanon Church. Interment is at Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago.
Mrs. Lebbos is survived by four sons, one daughter, 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elia.
Mrs. Lebbos was a resident of the United States for 32 years and was a homemaker.

June Miller

June J. Miller, nee Polas, 89, a longtime resident of Lombard, died Monday, May 21, in Morris, Ill.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 25, from Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, to Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church in Lombard, with the Rev. John Guiney officiating. Interment was at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her children, Ernest H. and Jewel J. (James K.) Reeves; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman.
Mrs. Miller was a sales clerk at Kmart in Lombard.

Lyman Motsinger

A memorial service for Lyman J. Motsinger, 90, of Addison, will be held Saturday, June 2, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Addison.
Mr. Motsinger is survived by his son, David M. (Lisa Rosado). He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty.

Norbert Orszula

Norbert R. Orszula, 88, of Lombard, died Monday, May 21, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 25, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was private.
Mr. Orszula is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Carol (David) Watanabe; two grandchildren; brothers, Darus and Borus (Joan); sister-in-law, Hertha; brother-in-law, Frank Tezky; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Tezky; brothers, Edmuund and Sedzimir; and sister-in-law, Joan.
Mr. Orszula was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II, where he was a part of the Battle of the Bulge. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and a master’s degree from Midwest College of Engineering, and had been an electrical engineer consultant.
He belonged to the Theosophical Society, was a ham radio operator, was an avid computer expert, belonged to the Chicago Computer Society and was a member of the Co Masonic Lodge.

Zachary Shambro

Zachary “Jack” Shambro, died unexpectedly Monday, May 21.
Mr. Shambro is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna; children, Randy (Ellie) Shambro, Darren (Julie) Shambro, Darren (Cindi) Peterson, David (Abbas) DuFault and Nikki (James) Ginger; and six grandchildren.
Mr. Shambro spent his time fishing, traveling the country by car, gardening and watching football. He would drop everything to help a friend or family member in need, and offer the strength that was needed during difficult times, even after his death. His energy, courage and kind heart were admired by everyone around him, and inspired more people than he ever realized.
