Edlyn Andrlik

Edlyn Andrlik, nee Vasicek, 60, of Lombard, died Sunday, Oct. 14, in Lombard.
Funeral services are being held today, Oct. 17, at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, with the Rev. Edward Vasicek officiating. Interment is private.
Mrs. Andrlik is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Topolewski; granddaughter, Hailey Topolewski; and brother, the Rev. Edward (Marylu) Vasicek.
Mrs. Andrlik was self-employed in the income tax field.

James Arient

James T. Arient, 67, of Lombard, died Saturday, Oct. 13, at Rainbow Hospice in Park Ridge.
Funeral services will be held today, Oct. 17, with prayers from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to Mass at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Villa Park. Interment is at Forest Hill Cemetery in Glen Ellyn.
Mr. Arient is survived by his wife, Nancy Lynn; daughters, Kelly Arient Schmit and Alissa Arient Gemske; four grandchildren; mother, Margaret Arient; siblings, Nancy Arient, Patti Arient Proffitt and Scott Arient; two brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

Harold Boldt

Harold H. Boldt, 95, of Lombard, died Monday, Oct. 8, at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 13, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was at Oakridge Cemetery in Hillside.
Mr. Boldt is survived by his sons, Robert (JoAnne) and David (Beverly); daughter-in-law, Irene; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey; and sons, Lawrence and Kenneth Boldt.
Mr. Boldt was born in Chicago and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II, where he ran the print shop on the aircraft carrier USS Antietam. After the war, he was a printer and was active in the Chicago Printers Union. He worked for the Chicago Tribune and various newspapers in the area over his career. His hobbies involved sailing, power boating, camping, automobiles and golf. He was very involved in his family and his church, and loved life.

Joyce Deferville

Joyce L. Deferville, nee Heerlein, 89, of Lombard, died Friday, Oct. 12, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Bloomingdale.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, at Lombard Bible Church, 111 S. Park Ave., Lombard. Interment is private.
Mrs. Deferville is survived by her children, Joan (David) Irwin, Larry (Julie) and Liann (John) Holcomb; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Remo; and three sisters.
Mrs. Deferville was an active and devoted member of Lombard Bible Church.

Lillian Sinibaldi

Funeral services for Lillian A. Sinibaldi, nee Kallas, of Villa Park, were held Friday, Oct. 12, at St. Alexander Church in Villa Park. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Sinibaldi is survived by her children, James (Marilyn), Joseph (Evelyn), William (Louise) and Mary; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and was the aunt of two. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; son, Francis (Barbara); and five sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Sinibaldi was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan, and was a member of the Villa Park Lioness Club, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #2801 of Villa Park and the Villa Park Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Rosario Verona

Funeral services for Rosario “Russ” Verona, 74, of Villa Park, were held Monday, Oct. 15, at St. Alexander Church Gathering Space in Villa Park. Interment was at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Utica, Ill.
Mr. Verona is survived by his wife, JoAnne; children, Roger, Lisa and Scott (Sharon); siblings, Mary (Victor) Orsini and Rose Verona; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rose Verona; and siblings, Bill Verona and Frances Russell.
Mr. Verona was a former advertising director for A&P Foods and a sales representative for Federated Food Group in Arlington Heights.
