Shirley Cramer

Shirley Lucille Cramer, 80, of Foley, Mo., formerly of Lombard/Glen Ellyn, died Saturday, Sept. 8, in Missouri.
Funeral services are being held Thursday, Sept. 13, with a visitation and funeral service at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with the Rev. Dan Wegrzyn of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Interment is at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
Mrs. Cramer is survived by her brother, Warren (Judy) Muzzey; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Cramer, whom she married in 1954; parents, Percy and Elsie Muzzey; and siblings, LaVerne “Bud” Muzzey, Wilbert “Wib” Muzzey, Percy L. “Jr.” Muzzey, Kenneth Muzzey, Howard Muzzey and Bernice Clark.
Mrs. Cramer was born in Elmhurst and was employed for a number of years as a teller and new accounts representative at Lombard State Bank in Lombard. She had moved from Gainesville, Fla., to the Foley, Mo., area in 2004 to be near her brother and where she had attended Foley Baptist Church.

Darlene Fromer

Darlene E. Fromer, nee Meuret, 70, a longtime resident of Lombard, died Thursday, Sept. 6, in Lombard.
A memorial gathering was held Saturday, Sept. 8, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Mrs. Fromer is survived by her husband, Phil, whom she married in 1988; children, Steve (Janet) Deike and Linda Deike of Lombard; stepsons, Ernie (Charlotte) of Villa Park and Philip (Sheila) of Lombard; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Al (Cheryl) Meuret, Trennor (Dennis) Meuret, Linda (Bill) Macak and Roxanne Denny; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sons, Gregory and Michael.
Mrs. Fromer was born in Chicago and moved to Lombard in 1979. She was a baker at Jewel Food Stores in Lombard for 11 years. She always wore a smile, always took care of everyone and adored her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.

H. Lottie Haberkamp

H. Lottie Haberkamp, nee Gewinn, 89, of Lombard, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, in Lombard.
Funeral services and interment were private.
Mrs. Haberkamp is survived by her daughter, Gabrielle Haberkamp; and grandson, Christopher M. Haberkamp. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; and son, Michael.
Mrs. Haberkamp was a homemaker.
Memorials to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.

Joanna Iwinski

Joanna Iwinski, nee LaRocca, 62, died Sunday, Sept. 9, at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst.

Gary Luedke

Gary K. Luedke, 24, of Villa Park and most recently of Lombard, died after a two-year battle with a brain tumor.
A celebration of life was held Sunday, Sept. 2, at Ivins Funeral Home.

Jane Nachreiner

Jane M. Nachreiner, nee Becker, 93, a lifelong resident of Lombard, died Thursday, Aug. 30.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 7, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace.
Mrs. Nachreiner is survived by her children, Herbert J. Jr. (Mylene), Richard (Jacque), James W. (Ruth) and Judith A. (Donald) Happel; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Millett of Lombard and Alma Dubrovin of Lombard; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert J. Sr.; and sister, Loretta Ramey.
Mrs. Nachreiner grew up in Lombard, graduated from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran School and attended Glenbard West High School. During high school she worked at Grunwald Bakery in the Deicke Building on Main Street. She moved to York Center from 1940-58 and then moved back to Lombard, where she had resided ever since.
Mrs. Nachreiner was the manager of Lilac Bakery in Lombard from 1960 to 2002, where she was widely known as the “cookie lady” in Lombard. She was active in Ladies Aid at Trinity Lutheran Church and the Lombard Woman’s Club, was a volunteer in Lombard and was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in York Center.
