Rosemary Ann Davis

A memorial visitation for Rosemary Ann Davis, 79, of Elmhurst, will be held today, March 27, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 28, at the funeral home. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, William; children, Steven (Connie) and Margaret “Peggy” (Joe DelPercio) Davis; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, George (Barbara) and David (Patsy) Freibert; and was the aunt of many.

Hubert Klaus

Funeral services for Hubert Klaus, 88, of Elmhurst, are being held today, March 27, at St. Alexander Church in Villa Park. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Mr. Klaus is survived by his children, John (Denise), Mary Ann, Herman (Sadie), James (Judith), Kathy (Bill) Dalheim, Nancy (Jeff) Mitchell and Therese (Andy) Lynch; 24 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Therese Klaus, Magdalena Cremer, Joseph Klaus, Katrina Rogg, Maria Schaefer, Peter and Herman Klaus. He was preceded in death by his wife, Therese.
Mr. Klaus was born in Germany.

Ralph Larson

Ralph William Larson, 80, of The Villages, Fla., formerly of Lombard, died Feb. 4.
A memorial service was held Friday, March 22, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Interment was private.
Mr. Larson is survived by his children, Kurt (Jennifer) and Mark (Marge); three grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Wanland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; brother, Harry; and longtime companion, Carmella C. Carlin.
Mr. Larson was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War, followed by a long career with Illinois Bell Telephone. While living in Lombard, he was active a a Boy Scout leader and held various leadership roles in the Lombard Jaycees. He and his wife Nancy moved to Apple River Canyon, Ill., in 1986, and he later moved to Florida in 1996.

LeRoy F. Schoenfeld

Funeral services for LeRoy F. Schoenfeld, 89, formerly of Villa Park, were held Saturday, March 23, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Entombment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Mr. Schoenfeld is survived by his wife, Grace; children, Diane (Robert) Enger, Karen (Davis) Schroeder and Nancy Kudeks; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mercedes Hermans, Mildred Plicka and Marlene Hansen; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Schoenfeld was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.

Lillian D. Speyer

Lillian D. Speyer, nee Hammermeister, 90, of Lombard, died Friday, March 22.
Visitation will be today, March 27, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 28, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Oakridge Cemetery.
 Mrs. Speyer is survived by her daughters, Cindy (George) Witt and  Lisa (Jim) Auden; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was a stepmother, aunt and great aunt of many. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John A. Speyer and Charles G. Izzo.
Mrs. Speyer had been a resident of Lombard since 1955. She was a member of the Lombard Service League.

Erin Stanley

Erin Stanley, 26, of Lombard, died Thursday, March 21, in Jefferson, Ky.
Visitation will be today, March 27, at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 28, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lombard, with the Rev. Patrick Boomhower officiating. Interment is private.
Ms. Stanley was the daughter of Scott Stanley; granddaughter of Lorraine Stanley; sister of Ryan (Cassandra) Stanley and Patrick Stanley; aunt of Conner Stanley; and cousin, niece and friend of many. She was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Stanley; and grandparents, Weldon Stanley and Charles and Evangeline Bell.
Ms. Stanley had worked at a restaurant in food service.
