Robert P. Geier, 84, a 40-year resident of Villa Park, died Thursday, Nov 14, in Elmhurst.

Dorothy P. Oder

Dorothy P. Oder, nee Sullivan, 74, of Lombard, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 18, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Private interment was at Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton.
Mrs. Oder is survived by her husband, Alden W. “Al”; daughters, Catherine A. (Michael) Rott and Christine M. (Mark) Brawley; four grandchildren; sister, MaryAnn (Carl) Dugo; brother, Terry Sullivan; and a niece and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Dorothy Sullivan; and her brother, Michael Sullivan.

Hattie Rauch

Hattie “Babe” Rauch, 91, formerly of Lombard and Villa Park, died peacefully in her home in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Mrs. Rauch was the mother of Paul (Janet Stewart), and Jody (Norman Frey); grandmother of five; aunt of one; and great-aunt of three. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Frederick William Rauch; and sister, Eleanor Ticaric Harrington.
Mrs. Rauch was born Feb. 2, 1922. She and her sister, Eleanor Ticaric Harrington, together owned and operated the Cornell Snack Shop in Villa Park for many years. She was an extraordinary card player; and enjoyed bingo, walking, bowling and a good game of golf. Her fun-loving personality, smile and laugh will be missed by all who have had the pleasure to know her.
