Rosemarie Atkinson

Rosemarie Atkinson, nee, Kraus, 88, of Plainfield, formerly of Lombard, died Sunday, Nov. 24, at Lakewood Nursing Home, Plainfield.
Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 29, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 30, with prayers from the funeral home to Mass at St. Pius X Church. Interment will be Saturday at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mrs. Atkinson is survived by her children, Pamela (Jim) Bratcher, Andrea Rizzo, Cynthia (Brian) Lewis and Glenn (Maria) Jasin of Lombard; six stepchildren; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Francis F. Jasin and Ronald N. Atkinson; and grandson, Matthew.
Mrs. Atkinson built her house in town in 1953. She lived in Lombard over 58 years and resided in Plainfield the last two years. She was a member of St. Pius X Church and was a past member of the Naperville Moose. She worked for Naperville Country Club for over 25 years as assistant manager.

Kathy McAlister

Kathy McAlister, nee McLaughlin, 56, of Villa Park and Lombard, died Tuesday, Nov 19.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 25, at St. Alexander Church, Villa Park. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Mrs. McAlister was the wife of Roy for 32 years; mother of Rob McAlister, Phil (Kristin) McAlister and Erin McAlister; sister of Pat (Gail) McLaughlin; sister-in-law of Roberta (Brian) Manley; aunt of two; and was expecting her first grandchild in June 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Mary McLaughlin.
