John L. Dolan Jr.

John L. Dolan Jr., a longtime resident of Villa Park, died Thursday, Oct. 10, in West Chicago. He was born May 6, 1944.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 18, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Interment is private.
Mr. Dolan was the father of Laura Dolan (Michael) Cullen and John A. Dolan; grandfather of one; and brother of Jerome H. (Lori Chassee) Dolan. He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. Sr. and Hazel L. Dolan.

Richard R. Kuehl

Richard R. Kuehl, a longtime resident of Lombard, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 14, at Peace Lutheran Church in Lombard. Interment was private.
Mr. Kuehl is survived by his wife of 29 years, Madelyn; children, Rick Kuehl and Jordan Kuehl; mother, Verona Kuehl; siblings, Dianne (Robert) Przybyla, Nona (Chuck) Capouch and Athena (Chris) Bravos; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Kuehl.
Mr. Kuehl was a retired guitar, violin and piano instructor for the Downers Grove, Wood Dale and Elmhurst park districts.

Agnes M. Nigro

Agnes M. Nigro, a longtime resident of Villa Park, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Lombard.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 12, at the DuPage Unitarian Universalist Church in Naperville.
Mrs. Nigro is survived by her children, Michael (Judith) Nigro and Christine (Marc) Copper; three grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph.
Mrs. Nigro was born in 1925 in Covington, Ky. She served in the Women’s Air Corps in World War II; and loved the Cubs, politics, swimming, travel and being with people.

Edward “Marty” Pfeuffer, 68, of Lombard, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, in Lombard.

Mr. Pfeuffer was the husband of Linda; father of Marcie Pfeuffer, Stacey Pfeuffer, Amanda (Antonio) Elizondo, Anthony Mendoza and Jessica (Victor) Landeros; grandpappy of five; son of Jack and Sharon Novak; brother of Lois (the late Edward) Salm, Russell (Nancy) Block, David Block and Karen (George) Morrow; and uncle to many.

Robert Ratke

Robert Ratke of Eagle River, Wis., formerly of Lombard, Ill., died Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at Avanti Health & Rehabilitation in Minocqua, Wis. He was 73.
Mr. Ratke was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Naamah (Peggy) Ratke of Lombard, Ill. He is survived by his daughter, Renee (Carl) Skoll; son, Ray; two sisters, Rennie (Greg) Bauer and Ruthie Ratke; two brothers, Ron and Ray (Amy); and four grandchildren.
