Ruth Cisowski

Ruth H. Cisowski, nee Kaufeldt, 92, died Wednesday, June 4, at Beacon Hill.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 6, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Interment was private.
Mrs. Cisowski was the wife of the late Walter A. Pojman and the late Chester A. Cisowski; mother of Walter H. (Phyllis) Pojman and Ruthann (the late Scott T.) Krey; stepmother of Richard (Dorothy) and Michael (Nancy) Cisowski; grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of 18; and great-great-grandmother of three.
Mrs. Cisowski was a resident of Beacon Hill in Lombard, and was formerly of Forest Park.

Richard S. Geyer

Funeral services for Richard S. Geyer, 54, of Downers Grove, formerly of Lombard, are being held today, June 11, with prayers from Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, to Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment is at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Geyer was the husband of Jodi; father of Kevin, Ryan (Catrina) and Eric Geyer; grandfather of four; brother of Robert (Nanci) Geyer, Nancy (William) Balling and Michelle (James) Ross; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and LaVerne Geyer; and his brothers, Stephen and Craig Geyer.
Mr. Geyer owned Geyer and Sons Plumbing of Westchester.

Daniel C. Hayes

Daniel C. Hayes, 49, of Aurora, formerly of Lombard, died Friday June 6.
A Memorial Mass was held Tuesday, June 10, at Sacred Heart Church in Lombard. Interment was private at Sister Lakes, Mich.
Mr. Hayes was the son of Jean and the late John “Jack” Hayes; brother of Linda (the late Bill) Wallace, Chris Zidek, John, the late Tom, Donna (Kevin) Thurow, Jim (Marilyn), Peggy and Patty; uncle of 13; and great-uncle of 10. He was preceded in death by his loving companion, Maureen Terry.
Mr. Hayes was a longtime employee of Takao Nagai/Bulley and Andrews.

Donna E. Helton, formerly of Elmhurst, died Monday, June 2, in Chicago.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 9, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Interment was at Arlington Cemetery.
Mrs. Helton was the wife of Richard; mother of Cheri (Luke Hensley) Helton; Nana and buddy of three; sister of Jack Lawson, Allen (Laura) Lawson, Jeffrey (Terry) Lawson and the late Richard Lawson; and fond aunt and great-aunt of many.

Margaret M. Kalte

Margaret M. Kalte, nee Conley, 95, of Lombard, died Tuesday, June 3, at Beacon Hill Healthcare, Lombard.
A Memorial Mass was held Monday, June 9, at Christ the King Church in Lombard. Interment was private.
Mrs. Kalte is survived by her daughter, Carol (Bill) Bushnell; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren; brother, Ron (Marylou) Conley; many special nieces and nephews; and many kind and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; daughter, Joyce; and sister, Elizabeth (Robert) Hanley.
Mrs. Kalte was a resident of Lombard for 54 years, and a resident of Beacon Hill for the last eight years.

Lawrence R. Keith

Lawrence R. Keith, 90, of Addison, died Monday, June 2, in Villa Park.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 6, at Community Presbyterian Church, Lombard. Interment was private.
Mr. Keith was the husband of Joan; father of Michael (Terry) Keith and Terry (Gene) Campbell; grandfather of seven; great-grandfather of 11; and brother of James (Joan) and the late Ronald Keith.
Mr. Keith was a World War II Navy veteran, serving on LST77. He was a graduate of York High School Class of 1942 and joined the Navy three days after graduation. He was a career-long employee of International Harvester, Melrose Park, and was a former member of the Addison Police Commission and Addison District 4 School Board.

Margaret M. Nauer

Margaret M. Nauer, 98, of Lexington Square, Lombard, died Tuesday, June 3.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 9, with prayers from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to St. Pius X Church, Lombard. Internment was at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
Mrs. Nauer was the mother of the late James P. (Cynthia), Sherry (Ed) Kairis and Camille (Patrick) Graver; and grandmother of six. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Nauer.
Born in 1915 in Chicago, Mrs. Nauer graduated from Mercy High School in 1933, and from DePaul University in 1937. While raising her family she also worked at DeNormandie Towel and Linen on the South Side of Chicago, as a bookkeeper, until her retirement in 1983. After she retired, she and her husband traveled extensively.

Donald J. Prindiville

Donald J. Prindiville, 96, of Lombard for 61 years, died Thursday, June 5, in Lombard.
Visitation will be held today, June 11, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 12, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, Northlake.
Mr. Prindiville is survived by his children, Barry (Kristine), Janis Wright and Gayle (Skip) Ramser; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Grace Arnold; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence A.; daughter, Karen; and siblings, Tessie, Roy, Florence, and Mable.
Mr. Prindiville was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre.  He was the past commander of the Elmhurst American Legion and was a longtime realtor in Lombard. Mr. Prindiville loved tending his yard, the outdoors, the North Woods and his family.
