Eleanore Budzinski

Eleanore Budzinski (nee Pabst), 84, of Bartlett, died Friday, June 20.
Visitation and funeral services will be held today, June 25, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, 17W201 Roosevelt Road, Oak Brook Terrace with a luncheon following the burial.
Mrs. Budzinski was the wife of the late Raymond; daughter of the late Charles and Bertha Pabst; mother of Nancy (Bobby) Smith, Cheryl (Jeff) Muehlbauer, Sandy (Fred) Becker and the late Connie Kleczewski; and grandmother of nine; sister-in-law of Lois Pabst and Dolores (and the late Jimmy) Mason; and aunt of 11. She was preceded in death by Edward (Flo) and Russell Pabst and Eugene (Lucille) Budzinski.

Dorothy Jean Dotto

Dorothy Jean Dotto, 88, of Lombard, died Saturday, June 21, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services are being held today, June 25, from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to Mass at Christ the King Church. The burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mrs. Hoffman is survived by her children, Robert (Kate) Dotto of Lombard, Joan (Donald) Mielke of Lombard and Valerie (Edward) Linden; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Dotto.
Mrs. Dotto loved good food, card games, socializing, and most of all spending time with her friends and family. She devoted her life to loved ones, and was always there for family gatherings. She had a wonderful laugh and a smile that could light up the room. Mrs. Dotto remained active through her life, and was still waterskiing and ice skating well into her 70s.

Bruce C. Hoffman

Bruce C. Hoffmann, 55, of Glen Ellyn, died Friday, June 13, at his home after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, surrounded by his loving family.
A celebration of Mr. Hofmann’s life was held on Saturday, June 21, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was private. 
Mr. Hoffmann is survived by his wife, Susan Hoffmann; daughters, Danielle and Christy Hoffmann; stepdaughters, Sarah (Jacob) Wielgot  and Dana (Nicholas) Eisenach; five grandchildren; siblings, Diane (Pat) Gannon and Ron Hoffmann; and several nieces, great-nieces and a great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Edith Hoffmann.
Mr. Hoffman spent 39 years as a produce manager for Dominick's Finer Foods. He was a talented wood craftsman and enjoyed rehabbing and flipping houses. Mr. Hoffman enjoyed the occasional afternoon at Arlington or his favorite casino, was also an excellent skier and he loved boating and being on the water.

Morris Lamar Settles

A committal service for Morris Lamar Settles, 79, of Lombard, is being held today, June 25, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
Mr. Settles was the brother of Robert, Devon (Sylvia) Earzel, Charles (Queen), Calvin, Delois, Joseph, Deborah (Jose) and Leon; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, T.T. and Emma Settles; and brother David Settles.

Irene Shaffer

Irene Shaffer, nee Korynecky, 69, of Villa Park, died Monday, June 16, at Elmhurst Hospital.
Funeral services were held Thursday June 19, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Interment was at Mt. Emblem Cemetery.
Ms. Shaffer was the daughter of Alex and the late Maria Korynecky; and sister of Hosanna Korynecky, Gladys (David) Novotny and the late Nester Korynecky.

Lillian M. Zawadski

Lillian M. Zawadzki, 95, nee Dziwik, died Tuesday, June 18, in Elmhurst.
Funeral services were held Friday June 20, at St. Alexander Church in Villa Park. Interment was at Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.
Mrs. Zawadski was the wife of the late Walter; mother of Dr. Richard (Ann Marie) Zawadzki and Dianne (Ronald) D’Amico former mother-in-law of Christine Zawadzki; grandmother of seven; great-grandmother of 14; sister of the late Mildred Ochocki; and aunt of Carol Staniec and the late Debbie Bosowski.
