Jeneen Mueller Cloninger

Jeneen Mueller Cloninger, 43, went to be with the Lord early on the morning of May 6, unexpectedly, following the birth of her son on May 1, 2014.
She was raised in Villa Park, Illinois, and was a graduate of Glenbard East High School. At the time of her death she was a resident of Kingsport, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Donald Barth; her stepmother, Catherine Mueller; and stepbrother, Bill Barth.
She is survived by her loving husband, Trey Cloninger; her newborn son, Gavin Xavier Cloninger; her daughter, Becky Mueller; and stepchildren, Dalton and Chloe Cloninger; mother, Charlotte Barth, and father, Fredrick Mueller Sr.; brother, Fredrick Mueller Jr.; sister, Deena Mueller Coomer; and stepsister, Debbie Dolecki.

Frances A. Matyasik Davane

Frances A. Matyasik Davane, nee Kuminski, 91, of Chicago, died Monday, May 12, at Bridgeway Christian Village, Bensenville.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 16, at St. Pius X Church, Lombard. Interment was private at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
Mrs. Matyasik Davane is survived by her children, John (Pam), Don and Jo Ann Schuster; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands and three sisters.
Mrs. Matyasik Davane was born in Chicago and had lived in Bridgeview and Cicero before going back to Chicago. She was a member of the Heart to Hearts Group in Chicago and  was a former member of St. Ida’s in Chicago.

Marianna R. Paleczny Deljanin

Marianna R. Paleczny Deljanin, nee Suwanska, 91, of Lombard, formerly of Bellwood, died Sunday, May 18, in Lombard.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 22, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mrs. Deljanin was the wife of the late Vladimir; mother of Peter (Kimberly) Paleczny; grandmother of three; and is survived by several sisters in Poland.

Daniel L. Hess

Daniel L. Hess, 66, of Lombard, died Sunday, May 18.
Visitation is today, May 21, at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard.
Mr. Hess was the husband of 45 years to Nancy Hess; father of Matthew (Kirsten), Peter (Holly) and Kimberly (partner James DeLeo); grandfather of seven; and brother of Edward and Vicky Hess.
Born in Berwyn in 1947, Mr. Hess graduated from York Community High School. He and Nancy began their own real estate company after extensive experience in the industry, D&N Property Management, which eventually became Key Investment & Management Inc. of Lombard.
Mr. Hess was heavily involved in the community and was a member of Villa Park Lions Club, Downers Grove Masonic Lodge and commander of the Black Horse Troop of the Shriners.

Adolph L. Kerkos Jr.

Adolph L. Kerkos Jr., 86, of Glen Ellyn, died Friday, May 16, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 27, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Mr. Kerkos is survived by his daughters, Cindra Britt and Kimberly (Gerry) Hartung of Lombard; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Leona Slocum. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Frieda and Martha.
Mr. Kerkos was a resident of Glen Ellyn for six years. He was formerly a 20-year resident of Lombard and 40 years of Berwyn and Broadview. Mr. Kerkos was born in Elmhurst and was a graduate of York High School. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Navy during World War II on the USS Midway and the USS Saipan. Mr. Kerkos had retired from Illinois Bell.

Allen R. Kowalski

Allen R. “Big Al” Kowalski, 80, of Lombard, died peacefully Sunday, May 18, surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 23, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 24, at Sacred Heart Church in Lombard. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mr. Kowalski is survived by his children, Debbie, Donna, Rich (Liz), and Rob (Tricia); one granddaughter; sister, Vivian; brothers-in-law, George and Vernon; companion, Barbara; and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey; nee Slajaus; and sisters, Rita Jasencak and Bernie Christiansen.
Mr. Kowalski was born in 1934 in Chicago, to the late John and Antoinette Kowalski. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during the Korean War.
Mr. Kowalski worked at the First National Bank of Chicago until retirement. He loved traveling, fishing, and gambling.

John T. Maida

John T. Maida, 56, formerly of Villa Park and Winfield, died Monday, May 12, in Chicago.
Family and friends will gather Friday, May 23, at St. Alexander Church in Villa Park. Interment is private.
Mr. Maida was the father of Melissa and Jonelle Maida; brother of Daniel (the late Mary Pat) Maida, Lorraine (James Hall) Maida and Raymond (Diane) Maida; former husband of Erin Maida; and uncle of many.

Florence A. Prindiville

Florence A. Prindiville, nee Reinertsen, 91, of Lombard, died Tuesday, May 13, in Lombard surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 17, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, Northlake.
Mrs. Prindiville is survived by her husband, Donald J.; children, Barry (Kristine), Janis Wright and Gayle (Skip) Ramser; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Richard Reinertsen; sister-in-law, Grace Arnold; and was the aunt and great- aunt of many. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen; brother, Howard; and sisters, Evelyn and Alice.
Mrs. Prindiville was a resident of Lombard for 61 years. She loved her family and caring for the birds and animals.
