Josephine E. Greswood, nee Keres, age 93, of Lombard, formerly of Evergreen Park, died Saturday, Nov. 1 at GlenOaks Hospital.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 4, with prayers from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to Mass at Sacred Heart Church. Interment was at Evergreen Cemetery.

John S. Hertrich

John S. Hertrich, 83, of Sun City Huntley, formerly of Lombard, passed away Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at JourneyCare Hospice in Woodstock.
He was born June 7, 1931, in Bradley, SD, the son of Edwin and Anna (Faehn) Hertrich. He grew up in Marietta, MN, before moving to Lombard around 1950 and then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. John married Evelyn V. Steben on Aug. 24, 1957, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in York Center, Lombard. They resided in Lombard before moving to Sun City in Huntley in 2005.
John was the co-owner with his partner, Les Schumacher, of Les’ Service in Glendale Heights and Lombard, retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in North Plato.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; three children, Denise (Jeff) Johansen of Carol Stream, Don Hertrich of Lombard and Deanna (Kevin Nelson) Hertrich of Salem, WI; three grandchildren, Melissa and Kristen Johansen and Nathan Nelson; three sisters-in-law, Marie Hertrich, Leona Hertrich and Irene Steben; brother-in-law, William (Pat) Steben; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dennis, on Jan 20, 2004; four brothers, Leslie, Donald, Harlan (Fran) and Jim Hertrich; sister, Audra (Loren) Ganske Mentzer; and two brothers-in-law, Marvin and Clarence (Jane) Steben.
Visitation will be held today, Nov. 5, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1165 Westmore-Meyers Road, in Lombard from 10 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service, with the Rev. Gerard Mau and the Rev. Patrick Boomhower officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Gardens West.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church of Lombard, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of North Plato or to JourneyCare Hospice.

Richard H. Rogers, 88, of Aurora, formerly of Lombard, passed away peacefully on Sep 24, 2014.
He was a retired taxi meter business owner who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Dorothy; his children, Michael, James, Elizabeth, Kristine and Sue; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church 130 N. W. St., Wheaton, Ill., on Nov 8, 2014, at 11 a.m.
