Amy Berger, nee Conforti, age 42, formerly of Lombard, passed away April 26, 2015.

Helen A. Dime

Helen A. Dime, age 86, nee Brazier, of Lombard, passed away Jan. 8, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Funeral Services will be May 7 starting at 10:30 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Ill., for an 11 a.m. service. A gathering will follow.
Mrs. Dime is survived by her loving children, Cheryl (the late Richard) Sutton, Nancy (Robert) Palmer, and John S. Jr (Eva); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Mrs. Dime is preceded in death by her loving husband, John S.; and three brothers.
Mrs. Dime grew up in Chicago and graduated from Marshall High School. She lived in Lombard for 12 years and Elmhurst for 36 years.

Anthony J. Jablonsky

Anthony J. Jablonsky, age 93, of Villa Park since 1960, died on April 25 at Good Shepherd Hospital.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 30, at Brust Villa Park Funeral Home, 305 S. Princeton, Villa Park, from 4-8 p.m.
Funeral Services are on Friday with prayers at 9:30 a.m. at Brust Villa Park Funeral Home to St. Pius X Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Mr. Jablonsky is survived by his daughter, Mary, of Arlington Heights; his son, Warren M.D. (Colleen) of Crystal Lake; his three grandchildren: Jack Anthony, K. Claire and Timothy Mason Jablonsky; his cousin, Mary Ann Hedin; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives; also his feline companion, “Midnight.”
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Patricia Jean, nee Mason; his daughter, Susan Jean; and his four brothers, John, Lester, Steve and Joseph (Virginia).
Mr. Jablonsky was a World War II Army Veteran. He served overseas in Europe and the Middle East. He received two bronze battle stars for the campaigns in Rhineland and Central Europe. He was a member of the Berwyn VFW. He was a graduate of Austin High School in Chicago, IIT and received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
Mr. Jablonsky worked in financial leasing for Indiana Michigan Corporation, retiring in 2001 as President. He was an active member at St. Pius X Catholic Church. He was an active member and supporter of Delta Mu Delta Honor Society.
The Jablonsky family would like to formally thank the staff of the Garlands of Barrington for his care.

Elizabeth A. Maciejewski

Elizabeth A. “Betsy” Maciejewski, age 62, of Villa Park, Ill., passed away on April 24, 2015.
Funeral services are today, April 29, 2015, 9 a.m in state at St. Alexander Church, 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park, Ill., with Mass at 10 a.m. Interment is private.

Mary K. Maltese

Funeral services for Mary K. Maltese, 91, of Lake in the Hills, Ill., were held Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Jean H. McKenney

Jean H. McKenney, nee Halm, age 88, of Wood Dale, formerly of Lombard, passed away April 27, 2015.
Visitation will be Thursday, 3-8 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with a rosary service at 3:30 p.m.
Funeral prayers will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. from Brust Funeral Home to Holy Ghost Church, 254 N. Wood Dale Road, Wood Dale, for 11:30 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Mrs. McKenney was the chair of the science department at Glenbard East High School. She retired in 1982.

John Sisler

John “Jack” Sisler, age 62, of Lombard, passed away on April 26, 2015, in his home surrounded by loved ones.
His Memorial Service will be held today, April 29, at 2 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. His Memorial Gathering will follow from 3-9 p.m.
Mr. Sisler is survived by his loving wife, Laurie, nee Borst; his two children, Kevin (Kellen) Sisler and Ellie (Matt) Zawicki; his granddaughter, Margot Sisler; his father, Don Sr.; his siblings, Don (Mary Kay) and Bette Sisler; his nieces and nephews, Sarah Sisler, Mark (Melissa) Sisler, Laura (Frank) Ahlbach and Jake Sisler; son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle to many others; friend of Bill W.
Mr. Sisler is preceded in death by his mother, Mary, nee Meyer.
Mr. Sisler was born in Dubuque, Iowa, on July 28, 1952. He graduated from the University of Iowa and received his Master’s Degree in Counseling from Governors State University. Mr. Sisler lived in Lombard for 20 years. He worked as a Counselor for Presence Health in Downers Grove. Jack loved to grill. He was a good friend and neighbor to many.
