Georgene M. Davidson, age 88, of Lombard, passed away Wednesday, July 22. Services were held at Brust Funeral Home on Sunday July 26, 2015. The memorial service was held at First United Methodist Church of Lombard on Monday July 27, 2015.
Georgene was the beloved wife of the late Richard V. Davidson. Loving mother of the late John B. Davidson and Jill E. Davidson. Grandmother of the late Nicholas W. Brown. Survived by daughter Kristin G. Davidson and son James V. Davidson (Judith). Grandmother of Rebecca E. Brown (Jacob Giblin), Courtney J. Brown, Genevieve R. Werhane (Joseph) and Ian V. Davidson. Great-grandmother of Haylee K. Steineke, Brinley R. Werhane, Oliva A. and Noah R. Giblin. Fond sister of George and Wayne (Patricia) Marvinac.
Georgene was an active and devoted member of the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

Paula S. Gasparotto, nee Hayden, age 57, of Lombard, died Tuesday, July 21, at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, Ill.

Charles “Pat” Sparks

Charles “Pat” Sparks 77, of Lombard, died at home, two days shy of his 77th birthday.
Charles, husband to his stoically faithful wife Eileen Sparks for 42 years.
Charles, father to his four children, the late Steven Sparks, Roy Sparks (Lisa), Jim Zielinski and Julie Sparks.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Steven Sparks.
He was brother to Michael Sparks, and Geri (Ted) Kosartes.
Charles was so proud of his beautiful, talented granddaughters Savannah and Hunter.
Charles worked for Palumbo Excavating for 38 years, and was proud to be a part of Local Union 150 Operating Engineers.
He served his country in the Navy aboard the USS Forrestal.
His interests included fishing, hunting, smoking Pall Mall, landscaping, attending Fox Valley Muskie Club meetings and going to his favorite restaurant—HiView for Tuesday Fried Chicken Night.
His ashes will be scattered in St. Germain on the family property overlooking Little St. Germain Lake. It is our hope that he was reunited with the true loves of his life—Pepper, Reese and Mittens at Rainbow Bridge.
