Louise M. Baxa

Louise M. Baxa, nee Morine, age 83, of Lombard, formerly of Villa Park, Ill. Beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Loving mother of Mike, Tom, Daniel (Linda), Patricia Baxa, Judy Kupka, Janet Gschwend and Richard (Alicia) Baxa. Dearest grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 10.
Visitation today, May 27, 2015, 3-8 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park, Ill. Lying in state Thursday, May 28, 2015, 9 a.m. until time of Mass 10 a.m. at St. Alexander Church, 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park. Interment is private.

Joseph J. Pszotka

Joseph J. Pszotka, age 92, of Lombard, Ill., passed away May 2, 2015, at Lexington Care Center. A military service will be held May 29 at 10:30 a.m., Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Ill.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, nee Insley; three children, Karen Mattoon, Joseph (Yolanda) and Michael (Diana); five grandchildren, Michael J. Pszotka, April (Dave) Panfil, Kate (Paula) Pszotka, Kristina (Dave) Budner and Kelly (Noe) Sanchez; and eight great-grandchildren, Lindsey Panfil, Cody Panfil, Kayla Pszotka, Brooke Pszotka, Lily Pszotka, Zachary Pszotka, John Sanchez and Tyler Budner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Theresa; brother, John Palmer; sister, Patricia McMann; and son-in-law, Jerry Mattoon.
Mr. Pszotka was a WWII Navy veteran who served in the South Pacific on ship LSM 425. He was a life member of the Moose, Scout Master of Troop 51 for many years and helped develop the Boy Scout camp in Oxford, Wis. He enjoyed square dancing at local clubs for over 40 years and loved gardening too. Joe retired from Phoell Manufacturing after 50 years as an experimental tool and die maker. Mr. Pszotka lived in Lombard for 63 years.

Ana D. Smith

Ana D. Smith of Villa Park, IL passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015.
Funeral services are today, May 27, 2015, lying in state at St. Alexander Church 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park, from 9 a.m. until Mass time at 10 a.m. Interment is at Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton.

Virginia C. Stoever

Virginia C. Stoever, nee Jordan, born Nov. 16, 1930, at rest May 14, 2015.
Mrs. Stoever was a resident of Lombard and served as a crossing guard at Highland Avenue for 37 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert; loving mother of Steve Stoever, Tom Stoever, Donald (Bonnie) Stoever and John (Debbie) Stoever; proud grandmother of 11; and great-grandmother of 11.

Betty J. Yergin

Betty J. Yergin, a longtime resident of Lombard, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of May 24, 2015.
