Michael R. Bellock

Michael R. Bellock, age 20, suddenly at Eastern Illinois University, of Lombard.
Public visitation will be Friday, April 29, from 3-9 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Funeral services and interment at Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton, Ill., are private.
Michael is survived by his loving parents, Michael J. and Nicole, nee Illian, of Lombard; a sister, Melanie of Green Bay, Wis.; two brothers, Matthew of Lombard and Mitchell of Lombard; his grandmother, Bessie C. Bellock of Lombard; 16 aunts and uncles; many cousins and other relatives; and many friends.
Michael graduated from Park View Elementary School and Glenn Westlake Middle School, and Glenbard East High School in 2013. He was a member of the football and track teams at Glenbard East. Michael was a junior at Eastern Illinois University, where he was majoring in International Relations. He also was active in the Delta Tau Delta fraternity, having served as an officer. Michael had played football for the Lombard Falcons for nine years. He loved to fish with his cousins and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to be used for setting up a scholarship in Michael’s name are appreciated.

Richard A Butera

Funeral services for Richard A. Butera, age 84, were held Saturday, April 23, at St. John the Apostle Church. Interment was private.

Bernard William Fuerst

Services for Bernard William “Bill” Fuerst of Mountain Home, Ark., will be private.
Bill passed away April 17, 2016, in Mountain Home, Ark., at the age of 92. He was born Sept. 1, 1923, in Scottsbluff, Neb., the son of William and Beulah (Koenig) Fuerst. He married Lorene Senne on Aug. 6, 1946, in Greene, Iowa, and ended his career as a Marketing Manager for Illinois Bell.
Bill was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, earning the rank of First Lieutenant and serving in the Signal Corps throughout the Pacific Theatre. He lived in Mountain Home since 1980, moving from Villa Park, Ill. Bill was a volunteer for Hospice of the Ozarks for over 20 years, also volunteering for the American Cancer Society. He was a master woodcarver, who loved to fly fish and golf. Bill was an Eagle Scout and a longtime Scoutmaster of Troop 62 in Villa Park. Bill was a member of the Jaycees and a Mason.
Bill is survived by his wife, Lorene Frances Fuerst of Mountain Home, Ark.; two sons, William Fuerst of Elburn, Ill., and Robert (Margaret) Fuerst of West Bloomfield, Mich.; two daughters, Barbara (Jim) Bradley of New Bern, N.C., and Sandra (Steve) Henderson of Villa Park, Ill.; 13 grandchildren, Jay (Kristin) Warner, Stephanie (Peter) Beal, Tony (Nicki) Bradley, Chris Bradley, Lorene (Charlie) Pepper, Jenny (Junhyun Bae), Amanda, Alex and Evan Fuerst, Steve (Lindsey), Scott (Jessica), Rob (Tami) and Samantha Henderson; and 16 great-grandchildren, Kayla Beal, Jack Warner, Dalton and Teegan Duong, Jordan, Paige, Ethan, Noah and Addison Bradley, Catherine Range, Eric, Raquel, Chelsea, Robby, Max and Callie Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sharron Warner (and her husband Joel) of Davenport, Fla.; and sister, Dorothy (Leck) Ray of Mountain Home, Ark.
Scattering of ashes will be in the Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Scattering Garden.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.

Marvin M. Jelinek

Marvin M. Jelinek, 68, of Villa Park, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, April 20.

Phyllis Marie Locke

Phyllis Marie Locke, 90, Battlefield, Mo., born Nov. 24, 1918, daughter of Cecil Mae and Edward Schilling, passed away at her home Oct. 6, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, George Locke, Aug. 29, 1914, to April 29, 1992; and daughter, Georgene Locke, May 14, 1942, to June 28, 2004. Survived by sons John G. Locke, (Christie), Cape Fair, Mo., Henry S. Locke, (Karen), Plano, Texas; four grandchildren, Wendi Biesemeyer, (Todd), Springfield, Mo., Matthew Locke, (Melissa), Cape Fair, Mo., Stephanie Cracknell, (Stephen), Allen, Texas, Jennifer Seibert, (Walter), Allen, Texas; and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Patricia Havel, Port Orange, Fla.; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
No words can describe the loss felt every day by those of us who knew and loved her.

Patricia Reynolds

Patricia Reynolds, nee Chandler, age 85, a lifelong resident of Lombard.
She was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Reynolds; devoted mother of Susan (Ron) Winters, Linda Gerardi (Tony Antonelli) and Cynthia (Kevin) Woods; loving grandmother of eight; and great-grandmother of four.
Patricia was born in her parents’ home on Ash Street in Lombard on March 6, 1931. She attended Lombard schools, graduating from Glenbard West High School in 1949. Patricia worked for 20 years in various capacities at Glenbard East High School. Faith was important to Patricia, and she was a lifelong active member of the First Church of Lombard.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Maple Street Chapel of the First Church of Lombard, 220 S. Main St., Lombard, Ill.

Regina Sikorski

Regina L. Sikorski, nee Ralls, age 73, formerly of Lombard. Beloved wife of Raymond Sikorski; loving mother of Michael (Sandi) Sikorski; devoted grandmother of Ryan, Kyle, and Lanie Sikorski and Lexis (Max) Serbenyuk; great-grandmother of Esther Serbenyuk; fond sister of Floyd Ralls, Patsy Pennington, Pat Rexford and Martin Ralls; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Regina will be remembered fondly by the 17 foster children she cherished.
She was always willing to share her faith and cheerful spirit, and will be remembered fondly by all the friends she made as owner and stylist at Gina’s Gallery of Hair Style, in downtown Lombard.
Visitation is today, April 27, 3-9 p.m. at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road (three blocks south of Roosevelt) Lombard. Funeral Service is Thursday, 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is private.
