Nedra M. Bachar

Nedra M. Bachar, nee Seiler, age 76, of Lombard, died Jan. 8 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove, Ill.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Forest Park, Ill.
Mrs. Bachar is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Gary) Lemley of Lombard; her son, David (Lisa Bartholomew) Bachar of Lombard; four grandchildren, Christopher (Katrina Lambke) Lemley of Lombard, Laura (Shawn Tsusaki) Lemley of Oregon, Ill., Chase (Jenna) Bachar of Oswego and Lake Bachar of Aurora; three great-grandchildren, Alexa, Quinn and Makala; her brother-in-law, Donald Bachar of Bolingbrook; and her cousin, Charmane Raber of Minnesota. Mrs. Bachar was preceded in death by her husband, John R.; and her son, James Leonard.
Mrs. Bachar was a resident of Lombard for 51 years. She was a 1956 graduate of Farragut High School in Chicago. Mrs. Bachar had worked 17 years as a bookkeeper for Walmart in Glen Ellyn until Christmas Eve of 2015. She had formerly worked for Homemaker’s for 21 years as a customer service manager.

James Kulhanek, 68, of Rogersville, Mo., formerly of Villa Park, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 6.

George B. McAloon Jr.

George B. McAloon Jr., age 79, of Lombard, died Jan. 10 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove, Ill.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 15, from 4-9 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 16, with prayers at 9:30 a.m. from Brust Funeral Home to St. Pius X Church, Lombard, for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Ill.
Mr. McAloon is survived by his wife, Susan, nee Jusko; three children, Brian (Pam) McAloon of Addison, Kimberly McAloon of Lombard and Scott (Stella Bang) McAloon of Nokomis, Fla.; his grandson, Jacob; his sister-in-law, Amy McAloon; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. McAloon was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Thomas.
Mr. McAloon was a resident of Lombard since 1966. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois Pharmacy School and attended Loyola. Mr. McAloon was a member of Tau Kappa Fraternity. He had retired in 1996 as director of pharmacy, a position he held for 27 years, at Loyola Medical Center Hospital. He was very innovative there in setting up clinical pathways and supply chains. Mr. McAloon was very dedicated to his work. He was an avid tennis and golf player.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the International Myeloma Foundation would be appreciated.

Patricia Pittmann-Mata

Patricia Pittmann-Mata, born Oct. 21, 1970, in Naperville, passed away suddenly Jan. 5, 2016, at Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village. She was a resident of Glendale Heights and was a former longtime resident of Lombard.
Patricia was the loving companion of Dan Wolverton; beloved mother of Rachel Wolverton; dear sister of 15; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Mary E. Webster

Mary E. Webster, nee Brust, age 91, of Bensenville, formerly of Addison and Villa Park, passed away Jan. 10 at Bridgeway of Bensenville Senior Living.
Services and interment will be private in Michigan.
Mrs. Webster is survived by her loving children, Rochelle Holmes of Florida, Terry C. (Ellyn) of Lombard and James Patrick (Miki) Murphy of Arizona; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Bob Holmes of Michigan.
Mrs. Webster was preceded in death by her husband, Russell B.; her daughter, Sharon Holmes; and her brother, Walter Brust.
Mrs. Webster lived in Villa Park for 20 years, Addison for 22 years and Bensenville for 20 years. She grew up in Evansville, Ind., and Chicago. Mrs. Webster was a waitress for Normie’s on Touhy Avenue in Lincolnwood. She ran the phone bank for March of Dimes. Mrs. Webster was a former president of Castle Towers residents in Bensenville.
