Bruce Dankers

Bruce Dankers, 64, of Elk Grove Village and formerly of Lombard, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016.

He was the devoted husband of 43 years to Carole (nee Pomon); loving Dad to Jennifer Dankers (John Bowes) and Lindsay Lester and proud Papa and buddy of Damian Lester. Bruce’s final gift was being a cornea and tissue donor. He also regularly donated blood, plasma and platelets. Visitation and funeral services were held at First Church of Lombard, 220 S. Main St., Lombard, on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016.

Priscilla M. Hartel, age 80, of Lombard, passed away Sept. 1 in her home. Beloved sister of Francis (Christine). Cherished aunt of Edward, Cory, Bill (Ruth) O’Brian and Joel (Erin). Great-aunt of Katheryn, Daniel and Thomas O’Brian, and Caitlin and Lily Hartel. Dearest friend of Pauline Sielski. Preceded in death by her parents, William E. and Corinne; her sisters, Mary Jane and Corynne Hartel-O’Brian; her brothers, William E. Jr. and Harry A.; and her friend, Barbara Cooper.
