Ann Marie Harman

 

Ann Marie Harman, nee Setlock, passed away at the age of 89, on the 12th of September, 2017. Beloved wife of Carl H. Harman; mother to Carol Harman, Dorothy (Barry) Berzy, and James (Cynthia) Harman. Grandmother to Christine, Jenna, Madeline, and John Caleb.

Native of St. Clair, Pennsylvania, Annie completed the Temple University ROTC Nursing program. She later held a long-standing position as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Elmhurst Hospital. Annie’s tenacity was unparalleled to any other, and her resilience shown through her life as a mother, nurse, and friend.

Always known as a source of advice and consul, she was a constant fixture of support to her Villa Park neighbors. Her passion for travel and gardening will continue to spark passion throughout her family for generations to come.

Morton “Matt” Masterson, age 89, of Lombard, Marine Corps veteran. Beloved husband of Nancy, nee Lein; loving father of Victoria Sue (Fred) Henry, Chuck (Sue) Masterson, Char Masterson and the late Edward Masterson; grandfather of Emily (Christoph) Hamm and Isaac (Katie) Masterson; great-grandfather of Elijah, Zoe, Naomi; preceded in death by siblings Wanda, Omer, Roy and Glen; uncle of many nieces and nephews.    Member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 73 and Fox Valley Flying Club. Webelos leader in Boy Scouts. Volunteer at Good Samaritan Resale Shop.

Kenneth Walter Niehaus, of Lombard, born July 8, 1940, died Oct. 2, 2017.

There will be a memorial gathering on Sunday, Oct. 15, at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, IL 60148 from 3- 8 p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place at Peace Lutheran Church, 21W500 Butterfield Road, Lombard, IL 60148, on Monday, Oct. 16, at 10 a.m.

H. James Seegers, age 88, passed away Aug. 28, 2017. Formerly of Lombard, more recently of Downers Grove/Boynton Beach, Florida, devoted husband of Joan Suzanne, nee Calmeyn, for 20 years. Survived by brother Glen (Muriel) Seegers, and first wife, Virginia A. Seegers. Devoted father of Bryan Seegers of Arizona, Robin (Matthew) Jungblut of Lombard, Scott (Ruthann) Seegers of Sycamore and Sandra (Ben) White of Oak Park. Stepfather of Sean (Jana) Maher of Elmhurst, Moira (Wayne) Shoger of Wilmington, Brian Maher, Kevin (Losama) Maher of Downers Grove, Michael (Sharon) Maher of the Cayman Islands. Grandfather of 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Brust Funeral Home, Lombard, today, Oct. 5, from 5-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be at St. Joseph’s Church in Downers Grove on Friday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. with inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois at 1 p.m.
