Envergjia Cobo, age 82, of Lombard, died April 12 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 14, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn.

Edgar Newman

 

Edgar (Herb) Newman died on April 5, 2018, in Glendale Heights.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary (nee Harkins); sons, Michael (Lombard, Illinois), Daniel (Grapevine, Texas) and Thomas (Connie) (Rochester, Illinois); grandchildren, Timothy, Matthew, William, Meghan and Elizabeth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence and Winifred Newman.

A memorial service will be held on June 2, 2018, at 1 p.m. at First Church of Lombard, 220 S. Main St., Lombard.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Lombard Citizens Police Academy (Shop with a Cop) or Joe Newton Scholarship Award at DuPage Foundation.

 

Geraldine L. Wick

 

Geraldine L. “Gerrie” Wick, nee Janssen, age 85, of Lombard, formerly of Freeport, passed away April 13, 2018.

Mrs. Wick is survived by her beloved children, Thomas (Tish), Grant (Colleen) and Ted (Renee); her cherished grandchildren, Amanda (Christopher) Jones, Molly, Joshua, Danielle, Andrew, Erich, Blake and Brooks (Kristen); her loving great-grandchildren, Adria, Thomas and Lincoln; her dear brother, Gerald (Annette) Janssen; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wick was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H.; and her brother, Allen.

A Memorial Gathering will be Friday, April 20, from 2 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 4:30 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
