Ronald E. Bruck, age 74, of Lombard, passed away May 24, 2018.

A memorial gathering will be held today, June 7, from 4-8 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 8, with 9:30 a.m. prayers from Brust Funeral Home to Sacred Heart Church for a 10 a.m. Memorial Mass. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.

Theodor A. Hinz, age 80, of Lombard, died June 1, 2018, at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 6, at Harvard Avenue Ev. Free Church. Interment followed at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.

Arthur Bernard Krieg

 

Arthur Bernard Krieg, age 94, passed away May 26.

He was the loving husband of the late Gloria (Wiersema) Krieg; father to Marcia (Ken) Sezer, the late Thomas (Diann) Krieg, Beverly (Thomas) Hans and Paul (Penny) Krieg. He was grandfather to Cara Krieg, Becca (Matt) Saunders, Ellyn (Andrew) Weiner, Matt Sezer and Laura (Mike) Cardosi.

He was a resident of Lombard for 45 years before moving to Woodstock, in 2013. He worked at Illinois Auto Electric Company, retiring in 1989. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Conflict. He was involved in Boy Scouts and was leader to both of his sons’ troops. He loved golfing, woodworking and anything his children or grandchildren were involved in.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30th, at Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5603 Bull Valley Road, McHenry, at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Honor Flight Chicago or Save the Boundary Waters would be appreciated.

Helen C. Orlowski, 92, of Villa Park, passed away on May 30, 2018.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 6, at St. Alexander Church 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

Audrey Ross, age 78, of Lombard. Beloved wife of Donald Ross; loving mother of Carrie (the late Michael) Stewart, Ken (Greta) Ross, Terri Ross and Jim (Michelle) Ross; devoted grandmother of Matt and Elizabeth Stewart, Devin, Dillon, Dacoda, and DoniBrooke Ross, Stephanie (Duane) Corbin, Ashley Lindquist, Alex, Hayden, and Cooper Ross; great-grandmother of Scot, Anthony, Joshua and Emily; sister of Joe (Cindy) Polak and Dennice (Dean) Elias; aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Leon A. Sulek

 

Mr. Leon A. Sulek died peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday May, 26, 2018, in Lombard, at the age of 77.

Beloved husband of the late Diana (Marucci) Sulek. Loving father of Jessica (Joe) Dalessandro and Jennifer (Kevin) Patee. Brother to Ellen (Sulek) Kepler and Cherished grandfather to Sara, Katie, Dylan and Lindsay.

Leon was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was a proud member of the United States Air Force and graduated from Lewis University in 1966. After moving to Lombard, Leon began working for American Airlines and retired 32 years later.

A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, June 30, at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Leon’s life.
