James W. Beimal

James W. Beimal (Jim, aka Bemo), 6/5/51 – 2/27/18.

“I was predeceased by my parents; James E. and Lorretta E. Beimal; a brother, Bob, in Lombard, and am survived by my wife, Jane; a sister, Barb Beimal of Nokomis, Florida; a brother, John Beimal of West Chicago, Illinois; foster brothers Mike and Rob and special Aunt Lorraine Broderick and various cousins.

I guess it’s time my life on earth is ending. It has been a wonderful, wonderful life. On Aug. 23, 1975, I married the love of my life, Jane (Bennett). Together we had two sons (who married up!) and two daughters-in-law. Dan and Laura have three girls: Elise (10), Adeline (8), and Isla (5). Tim and Elissa have Theo (3), and Ellie (1).

We had a wonderful family life. I was happy to have many colleagues, especially in the Seymour Community School District. I appreciated teaching second grade for 32 years (1975-2007) at Rock Ledge in Seymour.

And then there are friends. Precious friends. Too many to list, each special to me. To those people that may want to honor my life, remember that a child needs the gift of L-O-V-E. The problem is a child spells the gift of love T-I-M-E. So, if you wish to spend an extra amount of time, spend it with your child or grandchild. See you next time.”
